Integrating geographical information with business intelligence enables a new form of 'location intelligence'. The key features of this solution include:

Bridge to SAP BusinessObjects XI from ESRI ArcGIS Server, ESRI ArcIMS, or ESRI ArcMap

• Expose the full power of SAP BusinessObjects XI to an ESRI GIS user.

• Request Crystal Report, Web Intelligence, Desktop Intelligence, or Xcelsius SWF while passing user feature selection to the report. Users can select from multiple reports, viewer and format options.

• View any PDF, XLS, DOC, RTF, or a Text file stored in the system.

Bridge to ESRI ArcGIS Server or ESRI ArcIMS from SAP BusinessObjects XI

• Dynamically embed images from ArcGIS Server or ArcIMS in a report, include report or map data in an acetate layer on the dynamically generated map.

• Create report hyperlink to load ESRI GIS HTML viewer with report data as highlighted features, for an ArcGIS viewer include report or map data in an acetate layer.

• Crystal Reports, Web Intelligence, Desktop Intelligence, or Xcelsius SWF supported.

• Integrate ESRI GIS into reports, office documents, dashboards or portals.

• Dashboard Builder - integrate Xcelsius, ESGI GIS, Web Intelligence, Crystal Reports into one dashboard

This bidirectional capability allows such innovative solutions as a 'side-by-side' presentation, where a map and a report are side by side in one view, with the ability to click on the report to refresh the map, or click on the map to refresh the report.

Dashboard Builder 3.1 Support allows ESRI GIS maps to interact with Business Objects reports and Xcelsius models in a unified dashboard view.

Maps can be a source or targets within the dashboard and pass information to Xcelsius models or other reports or receive information from Xcelsius models or other maps.

As an example of this advancement in 'location intelligence,' this is a simple instance of using this feature in a dashboard with four analytics:

• Xcelsius – by setting this analytic as the 'source' for the dashboard, the other three analytic elements are automatically refreshed with relevant content
• ESRI GIS map – mapping information that relates to the selected element within the Xcelsius analytic, with a live map for additional drill-down analysis
• Web Intelligence – additional analysis information that relates to the selected element within the Xcelsius analytic
• Crystal Report – additional analysis information that relates to the selected element within the Xcelsius analytic
