We're pleased to announce some new on-site training programs for the
APOS BI Tools suite of solutions.
Over the last few years we've seen some exciting developments:
• the feature set of our
APOS BI Tools suite has grown dramatically
• our APOS BI Tools
customer base has grown significantly
• many customers are using APOS BI Tools in a sophisticated way
• many customers have a number of individuals in their organization
using the same APOS BI Tools
As a direct result of these very positive developments, a new need
for customer training and mentoring has evolved. Our new training
services are designed to help our customers maximize on their
investment in APOS BI Tools while extending their BusinessObjects XI
platform.
We're pleased to now offer the following professional training and
mentoring services:
On-Site Classroom Training - a senior trainer will deliver
APOS BI Tools training in a classroom presentation style, for any of
our APOS BI Tools.
On-Site Mentoring - a senior consultant will work with your
key personnel individually to help them with their utilization of
the APOS BI Tools suite.

for BusinessObjects XI Release 2 provides BusinessObjects
users with many powerful options for Report Distribution when
scheduling their Crystal, Web Intelligence and Desktop Intelligence
reports - and now with a new 'publish to crystalreports.com'
capability.
Key Features
• send successful instances to multiple destinations and formats in
one pass
• schedule to e-mail and e-mail as content
• schedule to FTP, FTPS and network file location
• schedule to multiple printers -
support for Web
Intelligence, Desktop Intelligence or
Crystal Reports
• add view/edit passwords to doc, xls, or pdf output
• pdf output security – restrict editing, printing options and more
• zip (with password) multiple files (multiple versions of the same
report in multiple formats) into one file or individual files

• expanded output format - beyond those supported in InfoView (HTML,

• distribute instances only if the report contains data
• control distribution through quick commands, parameters or custom

Bursting
Manager for BusinessObjects XI
Release 2
*Powerful new features added
Bursting
Manager now includes a number of new features to add to its reputation
as the ultimate power tool for bursting reports within
BusinessObjects XI!
Here's an
overview of recently added new features:
Bursting Destinations
•
burst reports to an FTP/FTPS destination
•
burst reports to SMTP - DNS or Destination Status Notification
settings will be used from your SMTP server (i.e. your SMTP server
is to notify you on email failures, etc.)
Bursting Security and Zip Capability
•
zip report instances (for single pass bursting) that have a
destination of Email or Unmanaged Disk
• add password protection to a zip package of burst reports
Configuration Enhancements
• new 'DB File Name' variable to the file name mask for large
bursting definitions, this variable will read the value stored in
the file name field of the database
• when bursting to a file folder that does not exist, the folders
will now be created automatically
• new business rule to prevent Bursting Manager from sending out
reports with no data (for single pass bursting)
• if a bursting definition uses a datasource that supports
parameters, then the file name mask on the distribution tab of the
bursting definition will allow the use of these parameter values
