Kitchener, Ontario, Canada - May 13, 2008 - On the heels of its Business Objects "Technology Partner of the Year" Award in January 2008, APOS Systems has achieved the new 'SAP Certified - Integration with BusinessObjects' status.

As one of Business Objects' top-performing technology partners, APOS was the first partner to participate in SAP's pilot program which certified that InfoScheduler integrates seamlessly with Business Objects solutions. Certification is currently underway for two additional APOS BI tools: the Integration Kit for Microsoft Outlook, and Object Manager.

This certification will help solidify the trust in InfoScheduler and APOS as a company within our new SAP customer base," said Dan Clements, President, APOS. The APOS team attended SAPPHIRE 2008 Orlando last week and experienced firsthand the first SAP show to include Business Objects. Several keynotes showcased the extensive integration between SAP and Business Objects, and the new power Business Objects brings to SAP BI. APOS had a booth at the show and spoke to many people about their plans to integrate Business Objects Enterprise into their business process. In an informal poll we conducted at the show, many system integrators and consulting firms expressed excitement about the new acquisition and told us about their plans to ramp up their teams in preparation for the next integration. At APOS, we are preparing to do our share with tools that will help the new installation go quickly and smoothly. These are exciting times for us and for our customers.

Background:
Golder Associates has established a network of more than 150 offices across 22 countries, employing 6,000 people. To enhance the value provided to its clients and to better address the diverse and changing needs of the various market sectors, they formed specialized industry groups across the Golder Associates companies, which share information and best practices from around the world.

Challenge:
Golder Associates had a vast amount of report instances that were delivered to one user for printing and distribution through email or internal mail. These reports included accounts receivable reports, employee expense reports, project summary reports, timesheet reports and WIP reports. They would be delivered to regional managers, office managers, project managers and employees. This task would take many hours and some extra man power each time they were run and distributed. Golder Associates was looking to improve the report distribution process and implementing a more efficient solution. Golder contacted APOS Systems to find the best solution.

Solution:
Golder Associates purchased the APOS Bursting Manager tool to solve their report distribution objectives. This product allowed them to streamline the process of creating and distributing report instances. The APOS Bursting Manager tool can burst large report instance into many small ones or generate many small instances from one report.

With the APOS Bursting Manager tool implemented, Golder Associates now sends small pieces of a large report to users instantly through email. This saves a lot of time as they are running 26 reports; some with very large instances. The report recipient can determine if they want to print the report or not. "Bursting Manager saves staff hours and we solved the business issues we were looking to solve," claimed Wajid Anwar, Financial Application Analyst, Golder Associates.

"Implementation was very easy and there was no disruption to our business process. Creating bursts was simple and didn't take much time," stated Wajid. "Reports are delivered instantly and in some cases without the use of any human interaction. Bursting Manager is increasing productivity."

Golder Associates also utilized the APOS support team for assistance. "APOS support was excellent to work with. They were easy to access and they gave me additional ideas on how to better utilize Bursting Manager. APOS is the greatest in supporting their software.
