View Time Security utilizes the powerful processing extensions capability combined with an external database of business rules to apply row level security to your reports. Report content is filtered for the current user; whether running a report now, scheduling a report or viewing a saved report instance.

Even better, row level security rules can also be applied by user group to facilitate powerful data filtering while minimizing entitlement database maintenance requirements. Or, consider assigning business rules by report name to quickly apply the same row level security to a specific report across all occurrences in all folders, once again minimizing entitlement data maintenance requirements.

Eight different methods of applying data filtering are supported, as follows:

In addition, an optional activity logging feature can be enabled that writes a record to an activity log table every time a report is run on demand, viewed in history or scheduled. Now you can monitor report usage and system activity levels over time
