The Bursting Definition contains the rules that guide each burst: which report to use, which filters apply, and how versions should differ. It provides the structured framework that drives accurate, recipient-specific report creation and ensures each completed output is routed to the correct location for use.

Dynamic Recipient Data

The data source that provides the values used to personalize each report.

Dynamic Recipient Data supply the values that tailor each report individually. When organizational details shift, such as new role assignments or updated customer ownership, the bursting process uses the refreshed data to apply the correct filters and create an accurate, up-to-date report version for each recipient.

Destinations

Reports can be routed to the most effective locations, including email (attachment and email body), secure file shares, FTP sites, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Google Drive, ensuring recipients receive their personalized content where they can access it conveniently.

Security & Data Controls

Role-based permissions, secure access layers, and adherence to existing database and network security models ensure users only perform authorized actions and recipients only see the data they are entitled to.
