The APOS Live Data Gateway enables live data connectivity to a wide range of Hadoop configurations. Here are just a few of the supported configurations:
- Cloudera with Apache Impala
- Cloudera with Hive (1.1.0)
- Hortonworks with Hive (1.2.3)
- Amazon Web Services with Hive (1.2.3)
- Google Cloud Platform with Hive (1.2.3)

Data Consumption
Methods
Data consumption methods are the means the APOS Live Data Gateway uses to serve data from the connected data sources to applications across the SAP solution landscape. If your application can consume data using any of the following methods, then the APOS Live Data Gateway can stream data from a large range of data sources to your application.
SAP OData Data Consumption
SAP Applications that are able to consume OData can connect to the APOS Live Data Gateway using its OData Access Point to steam data from a large variety of data sources. These SAP applications include SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP HANA, SAP Datasphere, SAP BW, SAP BusinessObjects, and others.

SAP JDBC/ODBC Data Consumption
