The company planned to move their SAP BW deployment to SAP BW/4HANA, and needed to replicate BEx broadcasting capabilities on the new platform.

The point of the post was to highlight the importance of non-SAP data assets in BI and analytics, and how these assets need to be considered in every organization’s digital transformation.

Typically, Analytics development processes are created in a separate environment, then migrated to the live, or production, environment.
