APOS Publisher - Chromium Extensions
APOS Publisher uses the Chromium browser internally. Chromium is highly extensible, and Publisher now supports the use of Chromium extensions.
Chromium extensions cover a wide variety of functionality. Security and privacy are among the most common such extension types and are frequently used for connectivity. For example, some organizations may require a security extension to allow the browser to connect to a security layer as a means of connecting with their analytics platform.
To load a Chromium extension, you download them to your system, then use the Publisher Administration utility to load and store the extension. The extension will be loaded automatically when you open the browser in Publisher. Note that when you add a Chromium extension, it becomes available to all users defined within your Publisher system.
