APOS Publisher uses the Chromium browser internally. Chromium is highly extensible, and Publisher now supports the use of Chromium extensions. Chromium extensions cover a wide variety of functionality. Security and privacy are among the most common such extension types and are frequently used for connectivity.

APOS has expanded Publisher’s destination support, upgrading existing and adding new destinations that enhance your communications strategy. For each new destination type, you can configure multiple connections. allowing you to distribute your communications to multiple destinations and environments simultaneously.

BIBA adoptó SAP BW/4HANA en 2021 para satisfacer sus necesidades de data warehousing, consolidación de datos y modelado de datos. Al mismo tiempo, implementó SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) para mejorar la gestión de los procesos de Manufactura e Inventario, así como para fortalecer el análisis y la planificación de las actividades de ventas. PwC proporcionó servicios de consultoría y asesoría de negocio a BIBA. Como parte de este proceso, evaluó posibles soluciones para las necesidades de publicación de reportes de BIBA y recomendó APOS Publisher.

PwC ha fornito a BIBA servizi di consulenza aziendale e strategica, valutando le potenziali soluzioni per i requisiti di report broadcasting (distribuzione dei report) dell'azienda e raccomandando l'adozione di APOS Publisher.

This organization had been managing their data in BW 7.5, powered by HANA, and using BEx Analyzer and BEx Broadcaster for report creation and broadcasting. The majority of report recipients do not have access to SAP data by any other means. Problem: In moving to BW/4HANA, the company lost its BEx Analyzer and BEx Broadcaster capabilities. While Analysis for Office could replace BEx Analyzer, SAP Analytics Cloud could not replace the broadcasting capabilities of BEx Broadcaster.

PwC begleitete BIBA als Beratungs- und Implementierungspartner. Im Rahmen des Projekts wurden verschiedene Lösungen zur automatisierten Berichtsverteilung bewertet. Nach einer umfassenden Analyse der Anforderungen empfahl PwC den Einsatz des APOS Publisher for Cloud, um Berichte automatisiert, zentral gesteuert und adressatengerecht zu verteilen.

Flexible process timing has always been an important feature in APOS Publisher. Now process timing is even more flexible with the introduction of custom calendars. Process timing allows you to schedule report generation and distribution by date and time, but now you can specify, and even build, custom calendars to simplify the scheduling process.

SAP’s Business Data Cloud 2026 strategy is particularly notable for the way it has turned competition into collaboration. It includes existing and planned partnerships with Databricks, Snowflake and Microsoft. These integrations will allow SAP Business Data Cloud users to leverage the unique advantages of each of these platforms while retaining the rich semantic context of their SAP and non-SAP data.
