APOS Publisher - Expanded Destination Support
APOS has expanded Publisher's destination support, upgrading existing and adding new destinations that enhance your communications strategy. For each new destination type, you can configure multiple connections. allowing you to distribute your communications to multiple destinations and environments simultaneously.
Publisher - The "Right" Enterprise Broadcasting and Orchestration Solution
We often say that the objective of enterprise-level broadcasting is to get the right information to the right people at the right time and in the right format. This objective is really a set of objectives that rely on different capabilities of your broadcasting platform:
- The Right Information: data-driven, dynamic report generation creates the personalized slice of information needed by each defined recipient.
- The Right People: recipients get only the information to which they are entitled because the process respects the permissions defined in your data source.
- The Right Time: the platform scales to mee the timely delivery needs of your communications strategy.
- The Right Format: the information is delivered in the format that is most useful to the recipient and most usable in their analytic activities.
APOS Publisher automates the processes that fulfill these objectives.
PowerBurst Destination Support
In addition, Publisher now provides extensive destination support - the destination to which the generated report is to be delivered. The right destination is just as important as the other objectives. The idea is to place the information in the path of the recipient so that it becomes an integral part of a workflow. Often this destination is email, but there are other destination types that enhance the usability of information, including SFTP and file location (e.g., on a server).
We have now expanded Publisher's destination support to include:
- Microsoft OneDrive - leverage cloud access and storage using OAuth
- Microsoft SharePoint - connect to a shared folder
- Microsoft Data Lake - Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS)
- Microsoft OneLake - the foundation of Microsoft Fabric
- Microsoft Teams Chat - communicate directly with project teams
- FTP/SFTP - now supports multiple FTP/SFTP connections
- Google Drive - includes automatic conversion of Excel to Sheets, PowerPoint to Slides, and Word to Docs
With this new destination support, you can:
- Have multiple connections for each connection type
- Burst to multiple destinations at the same time
- Control access to each destination through profiles
Destinations Are Critical for Your AI Strategy
For integration with AI, destination is critical, as your agents will use these destinations for reading and writing.
Take Microsoft OneLake as an example: Microsoft OneLake is foundational to Microsoft Fabric. By using OneLake as a destination, you make your analytical calculations and statistics accessible to the Microsoft IQ enterprise intelligence layer, which in turn enriches the AI environment.
